In celebration of the financial successes of recent worldwide combat operations and political maneuvering, Matthew Joseph Payne is proud to announce his upcoming release entitled "Gargantuan Acoustic Locator", due to be released on Friday, February 17th, 2012.

Blending progressive chipmusic, folky banjo and doom music to tell the story of the integration of warfare into our modern mechanized society through the lens of American cold war propaganda. Equal parts epic slow drone and high speed chip music, "Gargantuan Acoustic Locator" promises an intense 20 minutes (or so).

In conjunction with the release, there will be two live performances:

The War of the Worlds was an episode of the American radio drama anthology series, Mercury Theatre on the Air, broadcasted on the October 30, 1938 and directed and narrated by Orson Welles. The radio broadcast was based on the novel by writer H. G. Wells from 1898.

2012... the year that The War Of The Worlds recordings appear again. This time by Neurobit, an improvisation project by Bas Welling.The artwork is partly taken from the 2003 edition of the tape, but re-worked so it makes sense in the world as it is today.
